Lunar Eclipse / Full Moon in Pisces ♓️

Eclipse season is here

And this time, the tides are turning, taking us to a completely new direction.

For the past year and a half, we have been experiencing the eclipses in the Aries and Libra axis, which has been activating a specific area in our chart.

Now, as the nodes shift and get activated in the Virgo and Pisces axis, a new timeline opens, which marks the starting point of the lessons this new eclipse season will present us with for the next year and a half

Since Eclipses work in six months increments, it's relatively easy to track the effects of what this eclipse season will mean for us in the grand scheme of things, as two new houses of our chart will be highlighted (the ones ruled by both Virgo and Pisces)

The final eclipse of the Aries and Libra Axis will happen on October 10th, marking the end of that period in our lives. Though, we will cover that transit in depth when the time comes on another newsletter

As of today, let's delve into the depths of this new journey we are about to embark, and what timelines are being closed.

The best way to encapsulate and explain the effects of Eclipse season, is by understanding how eclipses work, which is by closing and opening chapters in our lives. These chapters are connected by six months increments, and the themes are depicted by the houses they activate in our chart, meaning eclipse season will be experienced differently depending on who are you talking to, though as each person will be experiencing a different activation

Those with strong mutable energy in their charts (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, Pisces) will be experiencing the effects of eclipse season in a stronger and more tangible way

As you know, I like adding Fixed Stars and analyse the Mansions of the Moon on each of my reports, and funnily enough, both of them point us out towards the same meaning – the need to release what restrains us / chains us to the past

Mutable signs depict change and adaptability, the need to experiment and evolve, they crave change and evolution. The Fixed Star Markab is directly activated in this lunation by the Moon that is making a tight conjunction. Markab is the brightest star in the constellation of Pegasus, the winged horse. This Fixed Star is ruled predominantly by Mars, and when it comes to Fixed Stars, it's one of the most volatile and untamed ones. According to Ptolemy the bright stars are like Mars and Mercury. The constellation gives ambition, vanity, intuition, enthusiasm, caprice and bad judgment. The  Fixed Star Markab is directly connected to the Fixed Star Algol and the myth of Medusa, since the winged horse was born out of the Gorgon's blood, hence it's complex nature

Markab invites us to reinvent ourselves, to reach higher and use our goals as our vehicle throgh life. In a way, this Fixed Star reminds me of the latin quote: "ad astra per aspera – to the stars through hardship". On the other hand, the lunar eclipse will be activating the XXVIII Mansion. As Christopher Warnock said:  When this Mansion appears, it indicates that we, too, are in a state of completion. We are ready to reap the harvest of our efforts. Yet we must not be passive. Like the fisherman, we must cast our net into the waters. The fish will not simply jump into the boat. This is also a Mansion of faith and guidance. Its appearance confirms that we are guided on our journey, that we will pass through the dangers and obstacles and achieve our goal. We can attain our heart's desire, if we accept the guidance that is ours for the asking, and ensure that we are active rather than passive participants in our journey.

While it's hard to fully grasp what the effects of Eclipse season may be right from the getgo, we can start paying attention to the signs presented to us and analyse our environment: What things are ending / beginning. What aspects become highlighted or more prominent

Here are some interesting questions to ask yourself for journaling purposes or to use with your favourite card deck during eclipse season:

  1. What changes or transitions am I currently resisting, and why?
(Reflect on the areas of life where you feel hesitant to let go or move forward.)

  2. What attachments or habits no longer serve my growth?
(Consider the beliefs, relationships, or routines you’ve outgrown but still cling to.)

  3. How can I embrace the uncertainty that comes with new beginnings?
(Think about ways to stay open to the unknown, allowing room for growth and expansion.)

  4. What is ending in my life, and how can I honor or release it with gratitude?
(Acknowledge the closures in your life and find a way to release them with acceptance.)

  5. What opportunities are arising that I haven’t fully recognized yet?
(Look for new doors that are opening, even if they initially seem challenging or unclear.)

  6. What intentions do I want to set for this next chapter of my life?
(Reflect on your goals and desires for the future, grounding them in this transformative period.)

Wishing you providence during this eclipse season dear readers,

Maria & Studio Artemy
